What filtration system does KD5 use?


KD5 combines a washable PP pre-filter, H13 HEPA filtration and a high-capacity carbon filter. Together, they help capture larger debris, fine airborne particles and everyday odors.

The filtration system helps capture pollen, dust, pet dander, hair and fine airborne particles. The carbon filter also helps reduce pet odors, household smells and common VOCs.

How does KD5 monitor indoor air quality?

KD5 uses dual infrared PM2.5 and VOC sensors to monitor changes in particles and VOC levels. The display provides real-time PM2.5 readings and a four-color air-quality indicator.

How does Auto Mode work?

Auto Mode monitors PM2.5 levels and automatically adjusts the fan speed as particle concentrations rise or fall, reducing the need for manual adjustments.

What purification modes are available?

KD5 includes five operating modes: Auto, ECO, Turbo, Pet and Sleep. You can also manually select from four fan-speed levels.

Can I control KD5 from my phone?

Yes. Connect KD5 through Wi-Fi to remotely manage purifier settings, operating modes, fan speeds, timers, lighting and filter status from your phone.

How often should the filter be replaced?


KD5 activates its filter reminder after approximately 1,200 operating hours. Actual filter life may vary depending on usage and indoor air conditions.

Can the filters be washed?

Only the removable PP pre-filter is washable. The H13 HEPA and activated-carbon filter should not be washed and must be replaced when needed.

Is KD5 suitable for pet homes and allergy season?

KD5 helps capture airborne pet dander, hair, pollen and dust. It can support cleaner everyday air but is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent allergies.

Can KD5 be used near a 3D printer or in a workshop?

KD5 can help capture airborne particles and reduce some odors and common VOCs. However, it does not replace a printer enclosure, source-capture system or proper ventilation when working with fumes.
